Teacher Share Sessions

I wanted to let each of you know in advance about the Teacher Share Sessions that have been created for this year. This will be a forum for teachers to collaborate with regards to lesson plans and instructional/teaching strategies. Over time there might be an opportunity to have these forums for individual grades, but for the immediate future they will be open to teachers from either grades K-2 or 3-5.

The first of these forums will be held next Thursday, September 13th, from 4:00-5:00pm. As we proceed we can extend the time in the future if necessary. Again, the hope is for teachers to share work they’re doing in their respective classrooms and to collaborate and share ideas and flipcharts they’ve put together with teachers from the same grade level but not necessarily from the same building. We talked about attempting this last year and now we’re finally able to offer this opportunity.

Please share this information and ecourage teachers to join. The first four sessions are listed below:

Grades K-2, Thursday, 9/13, 4-5pm, C&I Tables of Central Office
