Assessment Differentiation System

For those of you who have been trying to figure out how to use the Assessment Differentiation System (ADS) on EM Online, please take a few minutes to read through the following post and click the quick video tutorials.

The ADS allows for teachers to Create Test. Test items can be selected from all grade levels and sorted by CCSS. Additionally, you can always go back and adjust the assessment.

ADS also provides teachers the opportunity to administer the test online as well as take their assessments and print them for offline use.

One of the great features about the ADS is the Activities component. This portion of the ADS allows users to search for enrichment and differentiated activities. The materials generated include both teacher and student versions, are printable, and can be searched for by CCSS.

The last two features of the ADS include running Reports and monitoring progress. While these are not directly aligned for SPS teachers in grades K-2 due to our alignment to the CCSS, they're still useful.

Hopefully you will find these videos useful and take the time to become more familiar with the ADS on EM Online. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me. For K-2 teachers in SPS, you will receive training on the ADS at the upcoming January PD.
