Recently a SPS Teacher was recognized by McGraw-Hill, the publisher of Everyday Math, for his great work during math instruction time. This particular teacher who teaches at Springdale Elementary School has been incorporating centers, technology, and the CCSS. Please read his interview with McGraw-Hill and check out some of his wonderful suggestions regarding math instruction. Mr. Sapia also outlines the centers he uses during math for those of you looking for a model to follow.
